Located in the heart of vibrant Shoreditch, Ceviche Old Street is housed in what was once the legendary and now restored Alexandra Trust Dining Rooms. The menu is inspired by the coast, Andes and Amazon of Peru with influences from Nikkei to criolla, Chifa to fusion using Peruvian superfood ingredients.
Our Head Office team headed down for dinner thanks to the app CAKE, a restaurant payment app that allows you to split and pay your bill quickly. The app also books you tables and gives credit rewards that can be redeemed across its network of amazing restaurants across London.

We visited Ceviche in scorching hot sunshine, and the menu couldn’t have been better suited for the occasion. Everything oozed freshness; the sea bass ‘Don Ceviche’ was light and tangy with a kick from the tigers’ milk, washed down with signature Pisco sours that cleansed the palate perfectly. A deep-fried Aubergine a lo Pobre served with black bean tacu-tacu provided a more substantial main to complement the lighter fish dishes, while the sinful pumpkin and sweet potato doughnuts served with cinnamon ice cream to finish were beyond words…
Despite Ceviche being a traditional seafood dish, this was a vegetarian paradise! The ‘Arrollado de Palta’ was an avocado cannelloni with Jerusalem artichoke tartare inside, and was amazingly fresh! The ‘Wrapped Choclo’, a creamy corn puree wrapped in chard, came with an amazingly spicy sauce. All washed down with a Pisco cocktail and a side of Cacao new potatoes. If you want a refreshingly inventive menu perfect for a summer’s evening, this is the place!
